Michael Quick, Master Colorist

Michael brings over 15 years worth of experience in the industry with him. He originally started out as a make-up artist and image consultant in the Chicago area. This allowed him to hone his people skills and his technique. After attending cosmetology school, Michael immediately set his focus on hair color and later became an RPA for Redken. In 2001, Michael moved to Orlando, FL. He has been a salon manager for Canyon Ranch at its Spa Club in Orlando and a manager for Dillard's Department store's Salon. Now however, he is currently a Colorist at one of Orlando's top salons, which is where his true passion is.
His greatest assets are his peolpe skills and his unique take on hair color. His weaknesses are his Pug dog, YaYa and his passion for small, exotic cars.

Jennifer Hernon, Redkin Advisor

Jennifer Hernon has been a practicing licensed hairdresser for 20 years as well as being a small business owner of her own salon. Jennifer comes from a Redken beauty school and has continued to use Redken ever since. Jennifer also graduated from "The Gene Juarez Advanced Training Center" in August of 1988 where she became certified in Artisic Excellence with color and haircutting design, in Seattle Washingtion. Jennifer continues to advance herself through continued education and private classes and just last year had the opportunity to join up with well known hair designer "Russell Mayes" for a one-on-one razor cutting class in Los Angeles, California. Jennifer has donated her servicies to different charities throughout her career, and is an active participant of Askmags.com where she enjoys spending time with fellow hairdressers.
Jennifer loves color, but is probably best known for her love of a more realistic and natural approach to foiling, as well as having a passion for razor cutting.
On a personal note; Jennifer is also a full-time wife to her husband Bob of 17 years, and mother to her two children, Cameron and Olivia. Jennifers hobbies amoung many things include glass bead jewelry design, sterling wire work and crystal bead collecting.

Ashley Merkle, Dresswork Expert

Ashley M. hales from our country cousin up north. She has her Canadian journeyperson certificate in Cosmetology which allows her to do hair, make-up and own a salon in Canada. She’s received her level 1 & 2 Diploma in Make-Up Artistry. Ashley also has her Diploma in Creative Styling with Hair and a Diploma in Cosmetology, that’s a lot of diplomas Ashley!!!
Ashley has been working 5 years as a Make Up Artist and 3 years as a Cosmetologist, with experience in creative styling / UpDo’s, weddings, graduations, fashion shows, avant-garde / fantasy, competitions, and last but not least photo shoots. Ashley is here to help all of you with your Dresswork / UpDo’s

Deborah Wasilewicz is a graduate of the first Redken Artist Haircolor - Certification class (June 2006) as listed on redkencolor.com . She has also earned the title of Redken Specialist (June 2007) for her complete knowledge of the Redken line.
With almost a decade of aquired skill & knowledge, aswell as a thirst to continue educating herself, Debbie still believes her greatest asset is her desire to educate both her peers and clients. Through the experience of stylists much older and the trendiness of a schoolgirl, Debbie has the Redken answers you need.

Mags Kavanaugh has worked in this industry for over 30 years. In that time she has worked as a make-up artist & Cosmetologist for the theatre, TV, movies and has worked the Emmy's & Oscars.
She's owned 2 salons, one an Award winning salon in Clearwater Beach Florida, voted "Best in Tampa Bay" by Tampa Bay Magazine and the "Top 100 Salons in the USA" from the Institute of Trichology. The other was in Los Angeles in West Hollywood.
Mags has worked for 3 major color companies:
Clairol, which was her introduction to Logics, then she went with Logics over to Matrix when Logics was sold to Matrix and worked as a Master Artistic Educator, National Educator, Member of the Design Cutting & Coloring Team and as a Trichologist for Redken.
She began her career as Vidal Sassoon's assistant, learning from the Master was a humbling, exciting adventure but it was well worth it, working with Trevor Sorbie, Vivienne Mackinder, Dwight Miller, James Morrison and many others who have shaped & molded her into the Educator she is today.
After working on the Matrix Message Board and as one of the few "Ask the Experts" for Matrix, Mags decide the industry needed a place where stylists could come, ask questions and get correct "by the book" answers.
She's glad stylists have a haven, a place where they feel comfortable and know that they have help whenever they need it. And she really means it when she says, " There are no dumb or stupid questions, just the question NOT ASKED!"
